About us

Locomotive Production and Entertainment CIC was established as a social enterprise in January 2007. The company aims to empower French speaking communities through access to media.

Currently, the main focus for Locomotive is Connexion FM (www.connexion.fm) our online radio. Much more than a simple echo of the French speaking people (From Canada, Afrika, Swiss, Belgium...) on British soil, we actively promote the coming together of cultures.

Our mission

Whether you're looking for the kind of useful information that will help you to settle in, or if you're looking to connect with Francophones all over the world (or Brits who are crazy about French culture!) on a huge variety of topics, you'll hear it all first on Connexion FM:

1. To promote Francophone art and culture at the heart of English culture

With our team of 20 volunteer presenters and news reporters, British as well as French speaking, the Connexion team have every base covered: From our social calendar of French and English themed outings, to practical tips for London life, the promotion of productions and events within London's French community, tourism, health, education, relationships, celebrity interviews, French language music, hip-hop, dance and rock...
